About Noosa Gas

Noosa Gas has been delivering Domestic and Commercial LPG gas cylinders to the Noosa Shire and surrounds for over 50 years.

We are a family owned and operated business consisting of owners, Bruce and Daphne Bickle, their son, Chris, and daughter Deb.

Bruce and Chris are our delivery drivers, and you will find Daph and Deb in the office.

Our business is conveniently located on Cooroy-Noosa Road, right next door to the Tewantin ambulance service. We also have drive-in, off street car parking.

Noosa Gas's history started way back in 1934 when Bickles Hardware opened its doors in Pelican Street, Tewantin. Bruce's Grandfather, Frank Bickle Snr., built Bickles Hardware from the ground up, which was then passed onto Bruce's Father, Frank Bickle Jnr and eventually onto Bruce and his brother, Des.

Bickles Hardware started the gas delivery service back in the 1950's and
Daphne started working at Bickles Hardware when she was 15, the rest is history!

Bickles Hardware closed its doors in 1983 when Des and his wife Jeanette, retired, while Bruce and Daphne opted to take the gas business, which became Noosa Gas Sales & Service.

Noosa Gas has had 4 generations of the Bickles associated with it, you can't get much more local than that! (And Debs' children, 5th gen, don't mind doing some office jobs for Grandma & Poppy too!)
